In the Panhans we even attempt to render a sleepless night more interesting for our guests. In very clear nights you may get involved in a rather less ordinary activity in the traditional Panhans on Semmering – with the help of an astronomical telescope you may discover the starlit skies. The enchantingly and romantically furnished Stargazer's atelier, which is accessible via spiral stairs, is located on the uppermost floor (8th floor) of the rear-wing.

For those who would like to broaden their astronomical knowledge, there is of course a range of reading material available in the room. After some information the observation of stars, planets and galaxies may begin. Straight with the first glance through the telescope the with the bare eye visible chaos in the sky becomes a fantastically organised firmament.
