Experience the magic of alpine
cottages in the region of Semmering! Numerous quaint huts and mountain
restaurants can be found in the near surroundings of the Panhans. We have listed

Liechtensteinhaus
Location:
On the summit of Hirschenkogel at 1.350 metres
above sea level, next to the upper terminus of the new cable car – Only 50
metres from the observatory. Magnificent panoramic views of Semmering, Rax,
Schneeberg and Schneealm.
Large sun terrace on the plateau of
Hirschenkogel.

Enzianhütte
Location:
Rustic hut at the
toboggan run, in the summer about 30 minutes walk from the Panhans. In the
summer the transfer via the mountain road to the hut is possible.

Johanneshütte
Location:
Quaint hut at the
lower terminus West, 15 minutes walk from the Panhans, access by car possible
Capacity:
a total of 125
seats on 2 floors
Grenzlandhütte
Location:
The cottage Grenzland divides the
counties Lower Austria and Styria.
A rustic, comfortably decorated hut, only
300 metres from the Panhans, directly on the Panhans lawn
Capacity:
A maximum of 30 to 35 people – sun terrace
Pinkenkogelhaus
Location:
Behind the Panhans on
Pinkenkogel. Access on foot in about 45 minutes. Access by car possible (not in
the winter). Overnight stays on mattresses possible.
